Te Matatini is the world’s largest kapa haka competition — a prestigious biennial festival that celebrates Māori performing arts. Bringing together elite kapa haka teams from across Aotearoa and Australia to showcase the power, passion, and storytelling of te ao Māori on a global stage.
For this event, we implemented a multi-channel digital strategy that spotlighted Māori culture and performance — generating 1.8 million streams on TVNZ+ and contributing $14.4 million in visitor expenditure.
