Across the nine matches held in Auckland, over 350,000 tickets were issued, with a peak crowd of 43,217 spectators attending the highly anticipated games.
The FIFA Fan Festival, located at The Cloud, became a central hub for fans, attracting more than 90,000 visits throughout the tournament. This dynamic space offered an immersive experience featuring live screenings, entertainment, food, and cultural celebrations.
Beyond its cultural and sporting significance, the tournament delivered a net economic benefit of $48.9 million to Auckland — far exceeding expectations and underscoring the city’s ability to successfully host major global events.
